It was an absolutely perfect fall day for the 2004 Minnesota State Championships. The course was our typical setup with a few added tagets to make things interesting. At the end of the match, the three-way tie for first in PCP was resolved with a shoot-off. Dale took the PCP crown on a 5/8" KZ at around 40 yards. Rodney took first in the Piston Division with Pete right behind. In honor of Rod and Karen's contributions to the club over the years, I purchased special engraved pewter trophies for both State Champions. These trophies, given every year from now on, will be called the Skogen Cup. We all enjoyed Davanni's pizza and homemade deserts following the match.
